A dedicated team of Subject Matter Experts address the academic queries online, and answers are provided by them within 2 working days. Live classes are held 5 days a week to support the students in clearing their doubts.

Capt. H. Subramaniam
Holds Extra Master (UK) Certificate and has over 50 years’ experience in maritime training. He is the author of the internationally famous Nutshell Series of eight books on the operation of merchant ships.

A graduate of University of Rajasthan, the class of 1975 in the graduation of science, He is a thorough professional and a great academician and held the position of PRINCIPAL OFFICER, JOINT D.G.SHIPPING (T) for 6 years followed by a similar period at Nautical Advisor to Government of India for 4 years.

Capt. Ashok Mahapatra as Director, Maritime Safety Committee at International Maritime Organisation.He joined,Scindia Steam Navigation as a Cadet in 1973 and rose to the rank of Chief Officer in 1977.he was with IMO’s STCW and Human Element Section as a Technical Officer in 1998

Principal Officer of the Districts of Mumbai, Chennai and Kolkata for more than 10 years, followed by 6 years as Chief Surveyor with the Government of India and Ex-Officio Chief Examiner of Engineers.

Mr. Chakraborty has had a long and distinguished career with the Directorate General of Shipping, Government of India, of which 8 years he served as Principal Officer at the MMD, in Chennai and Kolkata.

Mr. Mitra is an important member of the quality audit team at the ADU and supervises the customization process of specific courses at various levels. Besides, Mr. Mitra shares his expertise across topics, with the students as needed.

Mr. Chakraborty is an important member of the team conducting weekly Live Q & A programs. He focuses his attention to MEO Class 2 and MEO Class 1 programs. He has had a distinguished career at the Directorate General of Shipping, Government of India.

Mr. Ramani is in-charge of online academic support for marine engineers preparing for the CoC examination at different levels. He opted for a career in shipping industry and during his 4 decades with the Shipping Corporation of India, he held a wide range of responsibilities at the leadership level in technical functions.

Mr. Ganesen has a mix of technical and academic background and contributes as the SME for the Tanker, Gas Carrier and Ship Superintendent courses at the ADU. He is the Vice President of IMarEST Global Council (2015 – 2018) and a Member of Technical Leadership Board, IMarEST (2017 – 2020).

Mr. Mukherji writes and reviews contents for the Class 2/1 MEO CoC levels and boosts the number and quality of our Quiz database. Mr. Prasanta comes with more than 20 years of teaching experience at the Singapore Maritime Academy.

Capt. Sengupta focuses on auditing the content and helps the development of additional content to strengthen the nautical knowledge base of students. He has a distinguished career in academia and is currently a senior faculty at NITMAS.

He is an academician to the core and had headed global maritime Institutes (School of Nautical Studies, Singapore Polytechnic and Australian Maritime College.

A master mariner with more than 40 of years of experience in handling Technical and Commercial Management of large fleet including Bulk carriers, Oil tankers, Container & Offshore vessels.
